The image shows one of the numerical simulations I am working with at the moment. A spherical gas cloud with uniform density has been irradiated with the accretion disk from an Ultraluminous X-ray source. What we see is how this gas would glow in various atomic transitions. Planets in Motion
A badass multi-planetary transit animator. Add some planets, with whatever orbits, periods, sizes, etc and watch them orbit their star and the eclipses they produce. Have fun!
